Recently retired from teaching at a small, New England college, Matt and Ann are moving to California to be near their sons and their families. Jenn, a former student, baby sitter, and close friend, appears to interview them for an article she is writing about her memories of them. Surprised by her sudden appearance after years of hearing nothing, Ann and Matt are further surprised by the discoveries Jenn has made about Ann’s past. Secrets Ann had never shared with Matt.
Jenn’s revelations threaten the trust that is the basis of Matt and Ann’s marriage. The three make a journey to resolve questions raised by Jenn’s research. The impact of their discoveries changes everyone.
